About
Family photos are scattered across phones, clouds and accounts. We think they belong together, at home, with the family.
Cloud and security architect · Tampa, Florida
My job is building secure cloud platforms for large organisations. At home I wanted something much simpler: every photo from every phone in the family, in one place we own, without another monthly bill and without handing our children's pictures to anyone.
The tools I found were either for one phone at a time, or for people who enjoy running servers, or clouds that charge more every year. So PhotoAlbumsMesh starts from a different place: the computer most families already have. Phones back up to it by themselves. The junk stays behind. Trips turn into albums with everyone's photos in them.
I apply the same rules I use at work. Collect nothing you do not need. Encrypt what travels. Be exact about what the system can see. You can read all of it on the privacy and security page.
