Direct: free

When a phone can reach the family computer directly, the photos go straight across. That costs us almost nothing, so it costs you nothing. This works at home, on a hotel Wi-Fi with the family laptop, through your own VPN, and away from home or on mobile data when our service can introduce your phone to your computer.

Paying

Pay where it suits you

Subscribe in the App Store or Google Play on any phone, or on our website from the computer app. The whole family gets the paid features, whoever paid and wherever. In the US, sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.

When a subscription ends, every photo stays on your computer, and backup over a direct connection keeps working for free, at home or away. Backup through our relay stops. A second computer keeps everything it already has and receives nothing new.

What happens if we stop paying?

Every photo stays on your computer, and backup over a direct connection keeps working for free, at home or away. Backup through our relay stops. A second computer keeps everything it already has and receives nothing new.

Does one subscription really cover the whole family?

Yes. Whoever pays, and whether they pay on an iPhone, an Android phone or on our website, every phone and computer in the family gets the paid features. Sync Anywhere is $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year.

Is there a limit on how much we can send through the relay?

No limit is planned. Photos sent over a direct connection never count, because they do not use our relay.
